Wednesday, January 21, 2015, 10 a.m.: Councilmember Parks Introducing Reinstatment of $50,000 Reward Motion to Help Solve Death of Roshon Davis

Councilmember Bernard C. Parks will reinstate the $50,000 reward motion for an additional six months for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the January 2014 death of Roshon Davis.

On January 29, 2014 at approximately 2:45 p.m., 26-year-old Roshon Davis was stabbed as he was standing near a bus stop on the northwest comer of La Brea Avenue and Coliseum Street in Los Angeles. Upon being stabbed, Mr. Davis ran away from his attacker towards the apartment he shared with his wife and four children. As he reached the back gate of his apartment, Mr. Davis collapsed, and was transported by Fire Department personnel to the hospital where he died from his injuries. No suspect or motive for this crime has been identified. The detectives working this case hope that a monetary reward compels members of the public to provide information on this crime. Anyone with information is urged to call the Criminal Gang Homicide Division at (213) 485-4341.
